TWO DAY WORKSHOP

Interested in growing organic produce? This is the workshop for you! The morning session will walk you through the basics of what it means to grow certified organic produce and what would be required of you a producer. You will also learn about the certification process and what an inspector is looking for.

On the second day we will tour an organic farm and study thier operation. You will also conduct a mock organic inspection.

Due to the interactive nature of the workshop space will be limited. A light lunch is included. Registration is free.

Participants will hear first‐hand from the farm owner on what the certification process was like and suggestions they would offer those considering an organic operation.
