Whether you have a small home garden or a large farm, we will show you effective ways to reduce the
stress on your joints. During this interactive workshop, you will learn how planting modifications, tool
adaptations, and other effective strategies can make a difference in managing arthritis pain. After the
morning session, you will discover the many health benefits of Tai Chi.
WHAT IS TAI CHI? Tai Chi is a slow meditative physical exercise designed for relaxation, balance and
health. Many scientific studies have shown that this gentle exercise is effective for arthritis and
stress relief. The workshop will demonstrate Sun Style Tai Chi techniques. The movements do not require
deep bending or squatting, which makes it easier and more comfortable to learn.
We have a wide range of dates and times to choose from. Class size is limited, so register today. Dress is casual. Registration fee is $15 per person.
New workshop dates will be posted soon. Please contact us to be notified when the new schedule is posted.
While Sun Style Tai Chi is a very gentle exercise, all exercise comes with some level of risk. If you have any health conditions or concerns, please consult your doctor prior to the training.
Registration fee is non-refundable. If for any reason you can not attend, you can have someone else attend in your place. Please notify us as soon as possible if a substitution is required.
The workshop is offered in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundation Georgia Chapter.
